Category 5e (Cat5e) Outdoor/Aerial cables are available in two
different configurations for outdoor applications: Cat5e Aerial and
Cat5e In/Out. Each of these cables are constructed for above ground
Outdoor applications. SCP Cat5e Aerial cables are Shielded F/UTP with
overall foil shield and a bonded and insulated galvanized steel
messenger wire to provide support for aerial cable applications. The
messenger wire is used to secure the cable with hang points to minimize
cable sag. The SCP Cat5e Aerial cable has a LLDPE jacket. SCP Cat5e
Aerial cables exceed TIA/EIA 568.C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 Category 5e
performance standards.
